Caring for Waterproof Jewelry

While waterproof jewelry is designed to withstand water exposure, it’s still essential to give it some TLC to keep it looking its best. After each wear, gently clean your jewelry with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or residue. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage delicate metals and gemstones.

Caring for Gold and Silver Plated 

  • Preserve your jewelry's' plating by avoiding contact with cleaning agents, beauty products, water and chemicals. -Remove jewelry prior to exercise, washing your hands or swimming.
  • Clean your jewelry with a dry cotton cloth to renew its shine.
  • Always remember to store your plated jewelry separately in its box.

If after all the care outlined above your plated piece lost a bit of its original shine, polish it with toothpaste. Use a soft cloth or your fingers to rub the paste in, then rinse it with water to remove the left-over paste so it doesn't stain, and dry immediately.

Caring for Brass

  • If your brass piece is losing a bit of its shine, remember that it is natural, just polish it with some lemon juice, vinegar, or ketchup.  Use a soft cloth, make sure the lemon/vinegar, or ketchup you used covers the piece entirely, then let it sit for a few hours - to allow for the deoxidation to take effect.  Finish off by rubbing any residue with a dry clean, soft cloth.

Caring for Natural Gemstones

  • Natural gemstones can be fragile. Do not use paper towels to clean your gemstones as they can cause scratching.
  • Tip:  Stretchy bracelets should be ROLLED over your hand when putting them on, instead of stretching or pulling at the elastic cord. Stretching or pulling the bracelet can weaken the elastic cord and over time may cause the bracelet to break.

We have a 30-day return/exchange policy. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return/exchange. All purchases final after 30 days. International orders are all final sale. 

To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.  You also need to provide your name and order number.

To start a return, you can create/log in to your account and request a return or email us at info@839jewelry.com.  Once your return/exchange request is approved, you will receive a shipping label via email.  Refunds/exchanges will be issued once your items are received.  

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Defect issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item,

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Exchanges
We are happy to exchange your items. Your exchanges will ship out as soon as your returned items are received.

Refunds
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method once items are received and reviewed. Please remember it can take some time (3-5 Business Days) for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
